Shannon and Jason's Wedding. Beaver Creek, Colorado.

Somehow I always end up shooting wedding's in Vail, so it's always a nice change to get to shoot a wedding in Beaver Creek.  Shannon and Jason were married on the lawn outside The Osprey a couple of weeks ago, on what seemed to be the last Saturday of Summer.  It was such a beautiful day and their timing couldn't have been better, because we'll definitely be seeing some snow here before we know it.  Congratulations Shannon and Jason!

Coffee Shop Actions

Thank goodness for Coffee Shop Actions!  You only have around 10 days to get this particular pose out of a newborn, while they're still squishy.  Unfortunately,  newborns tend to get an interesting newborn rash, as most parents know.  The Coffee Shop Baby Powder Room Photoshop Action will clean it right up though.  This particular little guy had a bad case of it, but you'd never know.  If you're wondering who he is, there's a clue on his chin.

Back on Track with a Fab Pic of Annie. Two Elk Restaurant, Vail Mountain.

I haven't put out an update in a while because Baby Maxwell has arrived, and now I seem to be coming back to the real world!  What better way to start off again than with this picture of the beautiful Annie up at the infamous Two Elk Restaurant on top of Vail Mountain.  Annie was a total rock star, as was our little helper with the props.  Thanks Annie! xxoo

Baby Portraits for Fallon - Gypsum, CO.

We had a really busy newborn shoot at the beginning of April with 3 little cuties.  Miss Emma being one, and then Baby Fallon and Baby Benjamin.  We had a ton of fun props to play around with and Fallon was so easy to work with.  Look at these beautiful blue eyes!

Baby Portraits for Emma - Vail, CO.

I had a big day of studio shooting a couple of weeks ago, with 3 newborns and a maternity session. Here's the first shots of Miss Emma. I can't believe how much she's grown since we took these pictures!  She was such a wee champ considering it wasn't the warmest day of the year, and we were having a freak Colorado blizzard that day.  Thanks Emma and I'm sure there's going to be plenty more photos of you in the future!

Vail Soul Music Fest - Gerald Ford Amphitheater - Vail, CO.

The Vail Soul Music Festival is officially returning to Vail in August.  This was a really awesome event last year and we need more locals to attend now!  Most of the attendees were from Denver or further afar.

Here's a link to some video that I shot at the festival last year, edited by Vail Mountain Video Guru, Satchele Burns.  I don't really shoot video, so it was cool to take a step sideways into the world of videography.  I used Satchele's Canon 7D to shoot the footage and it was my first time using that camera.  I was blown away by the quality of the camera and I'm still considering getting one!

Maggie and Dave's Winter Wedding - Vail, CO.

Maggie was one of the rare brides who has spent plenty of time organizing weddings for other people.  I should know - we worked in Group Sales together for Vail Resorts.  Seeing that Maggie has helped so many other brides make their way down the aisle, it was ironic that she was one of the most laid back brides when it came to her own wedding.  My theory is, the more you relax, the more fun you're going to have!  Maggie's dress was absolutely stunning and the weather was amazing.  The ceremony was at her parent's house with a reception at The Wildflower at the Lodge at Vail.  Here are a few of my favorite pics from their big day.  They're such a cute couple!
