Vail Photographer - Playing Catch Up Part II

Here are a few more from some of my sessions at the end of 2015.  It was definitely a hectic and  challenging year, but it's always great to be able to see your business grow.  These photos were taken all throughout the valley, and capture a wide of array of life's big moments.

A favorite shot from a recent newborn session in Gypsum. Clean, simple and no fancy props - that's my go to style for newborns. You get to focus on their gorgeous wee faces, fingers and toes!

Outside Magazine just voted Vail to be the second most beautiful town in the world to celebrate Christmas in (behind our neighbours in Aspen). We had to head out into a very snowy driveway at Vail Cascade Resort & Spa to get this shot, but it was worth it!

2 of my all time favorites and their handsome baby, Miles Davis. It's such an honor when someone uses your photos for their Christmas card and I'm happy to say that this one made it's way to my mantle.

You wouldn't believe it from this photo, but 10 minutes earlier we'd been shooting in full ski gear on the slopes at Beaver Creek Mountain for this Senior Photo session. Wherever you go, you should always shoot with a local photographer because we know about secret hiding places, like this one!

31 weeks pregnant and making the most of the fall colors at the base of Vail Mountain! This family of 3 is now a beatiful family of 4. I can't wait to do some photos with little Benjamin!

My last Christmas card session for 2015. This one was taken along the Gore Creek, just outside of Lionshead. You can't really go wrong with that backdrop! I always appreciate it when families are happy to grit their teeth when it's freezing outside. I'm such a wuss though!

Another Christmas card pic that ended up on my mantle! Ashley and her niece Jade, hanging out on the Par 3 in Eagle Vail. I can't even begin to tell you how cold this day was! Needless to say, we hightailed it home for hot chocolate straight afterwards!

This one's a fave from my Christmas card shoots. The red barn in EV is such a gorgeous backdrop in the snow. Luckily there wasn't too much snow at the time and we were able to grab this shot.
