For all of you that are married, think back to your big day and try to remember how nervous you were. Now imagine having all of the details finally in place, your guests are seated and you've just walked up the aisle and the ceremony has begun. Everything was running smoothly for Kristie and Fritz on their big day, until they were 2 minutes into their vows and the heavens opened up with a classic Colorado afternoon shower that had all of the guests at their outdoor ceremony running for cover.
As all of the guests huddled inside, Kristie and Fritz had to decide whether to move the ceremony indoors or to wait it out. Thankfully they chose to wait it out and 20 minutes later, seats were being wiped down and after a much more relaxed procession, the ceremony began again.
I was so impressed with how well they handled the whole fiasco, and as you can see from the photos, everything worked out beautifully!
