It's not often that I get the opportunity to shoot newborn twins, so I was excited to capture the Yurgaitis Twins recently in Eagle. Shooting newborns requires and extra level of preparation and different props. I usually shoot on a single bean bag, but for twins, I prefer to shoot from above and have the babies lying flat on a small foam pad. You also have to plan for additional time, just in case one baby sleeps and the other doesn't. It took us about 40 mins to get both girls sleepy and comfortable with sound machines, heat pads, heaters, cuddles and feeding. Once they were both out, they were really easy to pose and shooting was a breeze. Here are a few of my favorites from their session.
